Medical Power Solutions

Medical Locations are divided in 3 categories in terms of electrical standards. These are group 0, group 1 and group 2 rooms. A medical location is categorized based on the spaces and type of contact with the patient and the purpose of use. In rooms where power is of critical importance and interruption of power may be life-threatening including group 2 rooms like the operating theatres, intensive care rooms, anesthesia rooms and premature baby rooms, insulated power systems installed as per IEC 60364-7-710 standards (IT systems in medical) are used.

Insulated medical power supply systems ensure signalization of insulation leaks, load current peaks, overheating of transformer and other unexpected situations to minimize repair times and prevent any effects of failure currents and power interruptions on patients and personnel.
